TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the GRIT Trading Academy platform, website, educational modules, community forums, mentorship services, and all related services (collectively, “the Platform” or “the Services”).
By creating an account, making a purchase, or accessing any part of the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately cease using the Platform and not make any purchases.
These Terms operate alongside our Terms of Business and Privacy Policy. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the Terms of Business, the Terms of Business shall prevail.
2. Eligibility
To use the Platform and purchase Services, you must be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction (whichever is higher), have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and not be prohibited from using the Platform under the laws of your jurisdiction.
By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements. The Academy reserves the right to request verification of age or identity at any time.
3. Account Registration and Security
3.1 Account Creation
You may be required to create an account to access certain Services. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary to maintain its accuracy.
3.2 Account Security
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must not share, transfer, sell, or permit any other person to use your account or login credentials. You agree to notify the Academy immediately of any unauthorised use of your account or any other breach of security.
The Academy shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain the security of your account.
3.3 One Account Per Person
Each individual is permitted one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions, exploit promotions, or for any other purpose is prohibited and may result in termination of all associated accounts without refund.
4. Educational Disclaimer and Risk Warnings

4.1 Educational Content Only
All content provided through the Platform is strictly for educational and informational purposes. Nothing on the Platform constitutes financial advice, investment advice, trading advice, tax advice, legal advice, or any other form of professional advice. No content should be interpreted as a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any financial instrument.
4.2 No Advisory Relationship
Use of the Platform does not create an advisory, fiduciary, broker-dealer, or other professional relationship between you and the Academy or any of its personnel. The Academy does not act as your financial adviser, broker, or agent.
4.3 Risk Warnings
Trading and investing in financial markets involves substantial risk of loss. You should be aware that:
- You can lose some or all of your invested capital. In some cases, particularly with leveraged products, futures, options, and margin trading, you can lose more than your initial investment.
- Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. Any historical examples, backtests, or performance figures discussed in our educational content are provided for illustrative purposes only.
- Markets are volatile and unpredictable. No educational course, trading strategy, or analytical method can eliminate the inherent risks of financial markets.
- Leveraged products such as CFDs, spread bets, forex, and derivatives carry a particularly high level of risk. The vast majority of retail investor accounts lose money when trading leveraged products.
- Cryptocurrency markets are unregulated in many jurisdictions and are subject to extreme volatility, liquidity risk, and technological risks including exchange failures and cyber attacks.
4.4 Seek Independent Advice
The Academy strongly recommends that you seek independent financial advice from a qualified and regulated financial adviser before making any trading or investment decisions. You should only trade with money you can afford to lose.
4.5 No Guarantees
The Academy makes no guarantee, representation, or warranty that you will achieve any particular financial result, profit, or return by applying the educational concepts discussed on the Platform. Individual results vary, and financial outcomes depend on numerous factors including market conditions, individual skill, risk tolerance, capital, and personal circumstances.
5. Acceptable Use Policy
When using the Platform, including community forums, mentorship sessions, and any interactive features, you agree not to:
- Provide, distribute, or present yourself as providing financial advice, investment recommendations, or trading signals to other Members
- Promote, advertise, or solicit for any third-party product, service, or business without the Academy’s prior written consent
- Post, share, or transmit content that is unlawful, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
- Share, reproduce, distribute, or screen-capture any proprietary content or materials provided through the Platform
- Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
- Engage in any activity that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Platform or interfere with any other party’s use of the Platform
- Use automated scripts, bots, scrapers, or similar technologies to access the Platform or extract content
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform, other accounts, computer systems, or networks connected to the Platform
- Use the Platform for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
- Share login credentials or allow any other person to access the Platform using your account
The Academy reserves the right to monitor content and activity on the Platform and to remove any content or suspend any user who violates these Terms, at its sole discretion and without prior notice.
6. Community Guidelines
Our community forums are educational spaces designed for constructive discussion and knowledge sharing. Members are expected to engage respectfully and constructively at all times. The following additional rules apply:
- Treat all members with respect, regardless of experience level, background, or opinion
- Do not post specific trade recommendations, signals, or “calls” as this may constitute unregulated financial advice
- Do not make unrealistic income claims or guarantee specific financial outcomes
- Do not share misleading profit/loss screenshots or fabricated trading results
- Keep discussions relevant to the educational topics covered by the Academy
- Respect the intellectual property of the Academy and other members
Failure to comply with these community guidelines may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from the Platform without refund, at the Academy’s sole discretion.
7. Content and Intellectual Property
7.1 Academy Content
All materials, content, designs, logos, trademarks, trade names, course structures, methodologies, and other intellectual property available on or through the Platform (“Academy Content”) are owned by or licensed to GRIT Trading Academy and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
7.2 Limited Licence
Upon purchase of a module, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and view the relevant Academy Content for your personal, non-commercial, educational use only. This licence does not include the right to modify, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, create derivative works from, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit any Academy Content.
7.3 User Content
By posting, submitting, or sharing content on the Platform (including forum posts, comments, and messages), you grant the Academy a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, modify, and display such content in connection with the operation and promotion of the Platform.
You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to any content you post, and that such content does not infringe the intellectual property rights or other rights of any third party.
8. Payment and No Refund Policy
8.1 Module Pricing
Educational modules are priced at $689 USD per module (seven modules available). All prices are subject to change without prior notice. The price applicable to your purchase is the price displayed at the time of checkout.
8.2 No Refunds
ALL PURCHASES ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE. Given the immediate access to digital educational content upon purchase, no refunds, credits, or exchanges will be provided under any circumstances. By completing a purchase, you expressly acknowledge and consent to the immediate provision of digital content and the waiver of any applicable cooling-off or cancellation rights to the fullest extent permitted by law.
For UK consumers: You acknowledge that by requesting immediate access to digital content, you lose any right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, provided you have given your express consent and acknowledged this loss of right prior to purchase.
9. Disclaimers
THE PLATFORM AND ALL SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE ACADEMY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, COMPLETENESS, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
The Academy does not warrant that the Platform will be available at all times, will be free from errors, viruses, or other harmful components, or that defects will be corrected. The Academy does not warrant the accuracy or completeness of any content on the Platform.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE ACADEMY AND ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, MENTORS, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages
- Any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities
- Any trading losses, investment losses, or other financial losses of any kind
- Any damages arising from your reliance on any information provided through the Platform
- Any damages resulting from interruptions, delays, errors, or defects in the Platform
THE ACADEMY’S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO THE ACADEMY IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Academy, its directors, officers, employees, contractors, mentors, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or relating to your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, your trading or investment activities, your content posted on the Platform, or your violation of any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right.
12. Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and storage of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. We process personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and processing of your data as described in the Privacy Policy. You have the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your personal data, as well as the right to object to or restrict certain processing, in accordance with applicable law.
13. Third-Party Services and Links
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, services, or resources. The Academy does not control and is not responsible for the content, privacy policies, practices, or availability of any third-party services. Your interactions with third-party services are governed solely by those parties’ terms and policies.
The Academy does not endorse, recommend, or assume responsibility for any third-party products, services, brokers, exchanges, or platforms mentioned or discussed on the Platform, whether by Academy personnel or community members.
14. Modifications to Terms and Services
14.1 Changes to Terms
The Academy reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on the Platform with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We recommend reviewing these Terms periodically.
14.2 Changes to Services
The Academy reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Platform or Services at any time, with or without notice. The Academy shall not be liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of any Service.
15. Termination
The Academy may terminate or suspend your access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice. Grounds for termination include, but are not limited to, breach of these Terms, violation of the Acceptable Use Policy or Community Guidelines, fraudulent or illegal activity, or conduct detrimental to the Academy or its community.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting the Academy. Termination of your account does not entitle you to any refund. Upon termination, your licence to access Academy Content is immediately revoked.
Sections 4, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 17 shall survive termination of these Terms.
16. General Provisions
16.1 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.
16.2 Jurisdiction
Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
16.3 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
16.4 Waiver
The failure of the Academy to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
16.5 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights hereunder without the Academy’s prior written consent. The Academy may assign these Terms without restriction.
16.6 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Terms of Business, Privacy Policy, and any module-specific terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Academy relating to the subject matter hereof.
16.7 No Third-Party Beneficiaries
These Terms do not create any rights for third parties. Nothing in these Terms is intended to confer upon any person other than the parties hereto any rights or remedies under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
17. Supplementary Financial Risk Disclosures
CAPITAL AT RISK WARNING
Trading financial instruments including, but not limited to, stocks, bonds, foreign exchange (forex), contracts for difference (CFDs), spread bets, options, futures, commodities, and cryptocurrencies involves significant risk and is not suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage often available in these markets can work against you as well as for you. You should carefully consider whether trading is appropriate for you in light of your financial circumstances, knowledge, and risk appetite.
HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE DISCLAIMER
Any hypothetical or simulated performance results discussed in our educational content have inherent limitations. Unlike actual performance records, simulated results do not represent actual trading. Simulated trading programmes are generally designed with the benefit of hindsight. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those discussed.
NO REGULATORY PROTECTION
GRIT Trading Academy is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). This means you do not have access to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) or the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) in relation to the Services provided by the Academy.
